Heartbeat Experts reported today selling 20 KOL
identification and KOL
management software projects in the Asia-Pacific region in the
fourth quarter of 2011. These projects include implementations in China,
Japan, Korea, India, Indonesia and Australia. The company reported that
its clients span pharmaceutical, medical device and diagnostics
manufacturers.

Implementation of these projects, led by Heartbeat Experts’ local
delivery team in each country, involves the company’s KOL
management software platform populated with profiles of identified
KOLs. The KOL profiles are built from public sources in the KOL’s local
language in accordance with each country’s data privacy laws.
