Trimera Group Announces Launch of Domestic Production Facilities and Development Centers, Catalyst I and II

Canada, North America, United States

09/02/2012 — MONTREAL — (BUSINESS WIRE)

Trimera Group has announced that after over a year of investments in an
owned production facility, they will be officially launching the
Montreal-based development and production center, Catalyst I, in March
2012, along with a North Carolina-based facility also focused on
domestic production and development. Both facilities will offer state of
the art design centers for on-site development, as well as the latest in
seamless knitting innovations.

Trimera Group has worked in the last year to commercialize products for
customers using both its seamless and warp knit capabilities. Product
capabilities will continue to be across innerwear and activewear, with
plans to launch the revolutionary technology into swimwear as well. One
of the foundational values of both Catalyst I and II is the concept of
co-creation and collaboration between supplier and customer or brand to
reduce time to commercialize, test and launch products.

The Montreal-based, Catalyst I, has been producing circular knits for
over ten years; primarily under its own brands and private labels. The
recent renovations and upgrades will allow this facility to support
domestic production for brands looking to deliver speed and proximity to
market, reducing greatly the time to develop seamless products and
allowing customers to work on-site to commercialize designs.

Through the North Carolina-based facility, Catalyst II, Trimera Group
will develop and produce warp knit seamless as well as a new circular
knit technology. Warp knit seamless will revolutionize seamless apparel
and performance products by increasing the opportunities to knit with
amazing intricacy and at the same time improving the performance and
greatly reducing the need for sewing. This technology offers the
benefits of circular knitting to reduce seams, chafing points and
varying levels of compression and breathability within one garment, as
well as the benefits of improved stretch, recovery and durability.

Amit Tal, President of Trimera Group commented, “Trimera Group has
dedicated a lot of time, effort and made significant investments into
both of these facilities to produce the best products and deliver on a
local for local, speed to market strategy that we know is increasingly
important to customers looking to react quicker to their customers’
needs as well as reducing their own global footprint when possible.
Co-creation and collaboration is at the heart of this project as we know
that alongside our customers we can each leverage our expertise and
knowledge to build the best products.”
