Blue Belt Technologies, a medical technology company specializing in robotic solutions for orthopedic surgery, announced a world-wide commercial agreement with DePuy Synthes, the world’s largest provider of orthopaedic and neurologic solutions, to support their SIGMA^® HP Partial Knee System on Blue Belt’s Navio^® Surgical System. The agreement with DePuy Synthes will mark the sixth implant system supported on Navio’s open platform software.

The Navio^® Surgical System provides robotic-assistance for partial knee replacement procedures through proprietary CT-free navigation software and a unique hand held computer controlled bone shaping tool. The Navio system brings a high degree of implant placement accuracy along with soft-tissue balancing benefits.
